7. Admiral Malahayati

Although a woman, Aceh soldiers and the other generals had always respected Malahayati. Malahayati was a Daughter of Admiral Mahmud Shah of Aceh Sultanate,
 After graduating from an islamic school Islamic School, She Continued 
her study at the Royal Military Academy Aceh known as Baitul Maqdis 
Ma'had.In 1599, Dutch expedition commander, Cornelis de Houtman arrived 
at the port of Aceh. In 1600, the Dutch Navy led by Paul van Caerden, 
robbed and sunk Aceh Merchant ship full of spices at Aceh coast. After 
this incident, In June 1601, Malahayati captured Dutch Admiral Jacob van
 Neck while he sailed through Aceh coast. In August 1601, Malahayati met
 Maurits's emissaries for a treaty agreement.
